SCREEN PRINTING

Print techniques, processes, and ink information.  

Plastisol Inks

Industry standard inks used on most printable garments and/or merchandise. Plastisol is applied to 100% cotton garments and sits on top of the garment. Poly Blend plastisol inks are commonly used on garments with a polyester blend higher than 60% polyester in order to avoid dye migration. (See specialty inks below to learn more about polyester blend plastisol.)

Waterbase Ink (Eco-Friendly)

Waterbased ink for the eco-friendly touch. WB ink bends with the fabric to create a soft and smooth print. WB inks are most commonly used on lighter color garments for better results. 

Discharge Inks

Discharge inks not only give you a soft feel, but the print becomes part of the garment. Adding an activator to this ink it allows the cotton fibers to be dyed to the desire color. This print is applied to dark 100% cotton garment only. 

Specialty Mixes

Specialty inks such as glow in the dark, reflective, plasti-charge, softhand and much more can be achieve by mixing agents into plastisol and waterbased inks. With so many variation we are sure to have the right ink just for you.
