DTF also stands for "Direct to Film Transfer" in the context of a garment decoration method. In DTF garment printing, a design is printed onto a special film using a DTF printer. The printed design on the film is then transferred onto the garment using a heat press. The process allows for full-color, high-resolution prints on various fabrics, including cotton and polyester.
Print on Demand (POD) is a business model and printing technology where products, such as custom-designed apparel, accessories, and other items, are produced in response to a customer's order. The key characteristic of print on demand is that products are not printed or manufactured in large quantities in advance. Instead, items are created individually or in small batches as orders are placed.
